New York Daily News: Target posts record 24.3 percent second-quarter sales increase in stores; digital nearly triples

As lockdowns descended and panic increased during the second quarter, people stocked up. This proved good news for Target, which reported a 24.3 percent sales increase over the same quarter last year at stores open a year or more, the retailer said Wednesday. It was the company’s strongest jump ever.
