New York Daily News: 10 killed, 16 missing as massive California fire becomes deadliest of year

A monster blaze that destroyed a small town in northern California has become the deadliest fire of the year after killing at least 10 people, officials confirmed Thursday night. The North Complex wildfire has consumed about 250,000 acres of land in Butte, Plumas and Yuba counties just in the past few days, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, known as Cal Fire.
