New York Daily News: Lawmakers want tax relief for Manhattan mom and pop shops

Sen. Brad Hoylman and Assemblyman Harvey Epstein are introducing a bill dubbed the “Manhattan Mom & Pop Tax Relief Act,” which will suspend collection of the Commercial Rent Tax during the COVID crisis from small businesses with a base rent of less than $1 million per year.
